Main website: Bug tracker:
Current version 1.2.1 Currently supporting: PHP: 7.1 .. 8.0; Bootstrap: 4.5; JQuery: 3.5.1
If you are running PHsPeed as of version 1.2, please do not create production applications with Bootstrap 5 as this is all work-in-progress (demo purpose)
Supported databases: SQLite, Oracle, SQLServer, OpenEdge (Progress), PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB.

If you cannot get the system running, then you can mostly find the reason by: click here.

Before you can start developing database applications, you must set up a valid connection in advance (Database→Connections). You MUST set up a valid connection so that the IDE can read the database for the required meta-data, and you MUST set up a valid PDO string so that PHP will know what to do. You will find more information on the videos, manuals, and courseware.

It is strongly advised to subscribe to one of the free introductory webinars that are given almost every week. This will help you to pick up PHsPeed much faster, and… it's free!

Oracle users: We have had remarks about performance time, retrieving meta-data. For Oracle, it is crucial to define a new user and assign the rights of the created database/tables to it so that the amount of reported tables is reduced to the tables that are actually used. If you don't and keep using SYS or SYSDBA, then Oracle will report ALL tables, including the system, to PHsPeed, which takes quite some time because the amount of tables is huge! For each table, PHsPeed will retrieve field names as well, resulting in poor response while accessing the meta-data.
