The PDF components are a wrapper of TCPDF. The different components allow you to design your pdf page, but for very complex things it is advised to use the pdf object (non visual component) directly. The non visual and visual components can be used together.
As the PDF component is unaware of Bootstrap, you cannot use the bootstrap colors. Use the HTML colors instead.
